I am the owner of Desert Physical Therapy and Pelvic Health and have over 17 years of clinical experience with both men’s and women’s pelvic floor dysfunction. I graduated from A.T Still University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I possess in-depth knowledge and empathy of the emotional and psychological stresses that can accompany pelvic floor dysfunction. This comes from a personal journey and understanding through my own dealings with pelvic floor dysfunction. I also come from a long lineage of physicians, nurses, and clinicians in the field of women’s health, obstetrics, and gynecology. My passion is to revolutionize the way that both women and men recover from abdominal, low back, hip, and pelvic floor issues. I pursue this through extensive education, evidence-based rehabilitation, advanced manual therapy techniques, and return to fitness programs that promote diaphragm and pelvic floor integration into core strengthening and stability programs. I am a registered yoga therapist, as well as trained in myofascial and visceral releases and utilizes advanced biofeedback techniques to achieve quicker, lasting results for my patients. I specialize in treating pelvic floor pain due to trauma, stress, infections, post surgical, and dyspareunia (painful sex), as well as stress and urge incontinence, interstitial cystitis, chronic prostatitis and post-prostatectomy dysfunction in men. I truly love what I do and my favorite part is to see my patients have that sense of hope again. That is where the healing really starts.....
