About
I too suffered from stress-incontinence after the birth of my second child. „This can’t be happening. I’m a physio. I should be able to deal with this. I know all about it.“ I thought. For some reason that wasn’t the case. Nothing that I had learnt seemed able to help me with my problem. We had had some gymnastic but no targeted pelvic floor training. I began researching and eventually came across the Tanzberger Concept. I applied it to myself and it worked, so I have been using it ever since with a conviction that the success rates verify. I see it as my duty to continually extend my education to meet the demands of my training. I have therefore found it essential to have the ability to draw strength from my inner centre. My objective is to hand on the knowledge and the experience I have gained over the last 25 years. It is important to me that women get in touch with their bodies. My goal is to use auto-biofeedback, a mind-body technique to gain control over involuntary bodily functions, without the use of technical or electrical equipment. I continually broaden my expertise as a physiotherapist by attending seminars in such areas as areas neurology, craniosacral therapy, foot reflex zone therapy and gynaecology. My work is based around the Tanzberger Concept, of which I remain convinced. I also co-operate with „MamasMitte“ (Mom’sMiddle), a fantastic programme to treat diastasis recti. In the clinic where I work, I specialise in gynaecology. I also provide support for women attending post-natal and pelvic floor classes and personaltraining.
