Pulse PhysiotherapyAbout
I have lived in Owen Sound, London and Ottawa before finally landing here in Peterborough. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2011, and went on to complete my Masters of Physical Therapy in 2013. Since graduating, I have completed several post graduate courses, expanding my knowledge in Orthopedics with a special interest in Pelvic Health. These courses include dry needling (Kinetacore), pelvic health courses (Pelvic Health Solutions: Level 1 Urinary Incontinence, 2 Pelvic Pain, 3 Central Mechanisms to pain, Jessie Mundell: Postnatal Fitness Specialist and Cecile Rost: Pregnancy Related Pelvic Girdle Pain) and orthopedic courses ( Orthopaedic Division Manual Therapy Level 1, 2, 3, Intermediate Practical Exam). Leah's favourite quote as it relates to her personal and professional life is, "I like to listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully. Most people never listen." - Ernest Hemingway.
