Kellie S. Peterson , PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Kellie Peterson graduated as the valedictorian of her class from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science University in 2015. She earned awards for Excellence in Academic Achievement, Most Involved Graduate Student, and was inducted into the Alpha Eta National Honor Society for Allied Health. Dr. Kellie is a licensed Physical Therapist in CT and a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She brings her talent and expertise to patients of all ages in the orthopedic setting. She combines her advanced manual therapy skills, with evidence-based research and a holistic approach to healing to promote and enhance her patient’s outcomes. Dr. Kellie will work in partnership with you on your journey to achieve your goals. In addition to treating all orthopedic conditions, Dr. Kellie is passionate in treating women’s health. She recognizes how many women struggle with pelvic floor dysfunction and is motivated to help this population live a more satisfying, comfortable, and productive life. Conditions commonly treated include stress/urge incontinence, urinary frequency, dyspareunia, vaginismus, vulvodynia, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, and diastasic recti. She regularly completes continuing education in pelvic floor rehabilitation and is currently working towards achieving the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace. Born and raised in central New Jersey, Kellie relocated to Fairfield County in 2017 and has been loving her new home ever since. As a former dancer and competitive cheerleader through the collegiate level at Rutgers University, Kellie understands and appreciates the benefits of living an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys yoga, hiking, and scouting out new restaurants in the neighborhood.
