About

Hi! I am an orthopedic, pediatric, and women’s pelvic health physical therapist. My passion in women’s health began when took a course by Hollis Herman PT and learned about the inadequacy of physical therapy care of women here in the US and how pregnant and postpartum women’s pain was being dismissed by the general medical community. I have worked with this population for the last 25 years. I taught prenatal classes for a birthing center for 10 years. I recently completed advanced training in obstetric physical therapy, including physical therapy intervention in the labor and delivery unit, through the APTA, am a prenatal and postpartum exercise educator/ instructor and run community classes to teach women about women’s health while exercising. I have internal pelvic health training through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute 1, 2A, 2B, and Capstone courses. I am also trained in visceral fascial mobilization of urinary and reproductive system. I recently opened my own OB and Women’s Pelvic Health Physical Therapy clinic and teach prenatal/postpartum mommy and me classes which also covers early infant development and designed to facilitate early intervention. I believe early intervention and education are integral to helping women/birthers be healthier so they also can then raise healthier families.
