I am an orthopedic and pelvic physical therapist. I specialize in chronic pain, sports related injuries and pelvic floor dysfunction including prenatal and postnatal. I consider myself a manual therapist and I prioritize individualized one-on-one care. I treat all joints of the body including the entire spine and I have experience with all pelvic floor diagnoses including prolapse, incontinence of all kinds, hemorrhoids, diastasis recti, over active bladder, endometriosis, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a Pre-PT focus at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2007 and my Masters in Physical Therapy at Long Beach State University in 2010. I then completed an Orthopedic Residency through Kaiser Southern California and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2011. In 2013, I became a Certified Massage Practitioner and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science. I worked for several outpatient orthopedic clinics throughout San Diego and Santa Cruz County before starting my own business in 2015. In addition to my practice, I hold workshops and classes throughout Santa Cruz County. I offer chronic pain and postpartum virtual programs which include education and individualized coaching. I have also been the athletic trainer for Santa Cruz High School since 2016.
