Eliza completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double major in Psychology at the University of Virginia. Eliza contributed to research in the Developmental Biology Laboratory at the University of Virginia before moving to St. Louis to pursue her physical therapy degree. Eliza graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed focused study in Women’s Health topics and started her advanced training in pelvic health prior to graduation. Eliza developed her passion for treating pelvic health dysfunction during her clinical rotations when it became clear there is a great need for treatment and education about pelvic health conditions that can significantly impact one’s quality of life. She recognizes the need and importance of providing movement-based services to treat these conditions. Eliza continued her professional training after graduation to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has also received advanced training in pelvic health conditions from Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute and the Section on Women’s Health-American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She has worked in a variety of clinics with patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics with diverse orthopedic impairments. Through those experiences she developed a special passion for helping individuals with pelvic health related conditions. Eliza loves sharing her knowledge through presentations to medical colleagues and the community to help educate them about pelvic health conditions to advance normalization of many of these infrequently discussed topics. Eliza is passionate about treating her patients and providing them with the information and the tools they need to reduce reoccurring issues and avoid future impairments. Eliza’s goal is to provide the best quality of individualized treatment for each patient to improve their quality of life. She strives to create a welcoming and safe environment for all patients to enhance the exchange of information and maximize treatment effectiveness. Eliza is an active member of the New York Chapter and Women’s Health Section of the APTA. She is also a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician. In her free time, Eliza enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, swimming, water skiing and paddle boarding. She also loves traveling and exploring new places.
