Dr. Karla Moore , DPT, OCSNEUROFIT WELLNESS & PHYSICAL THERAPY, LLC
NeuroFit specializes in getting women and men to their best every health without the use of drugs or surgery. I'm Dr. Karla Moore, a licensed physical therapist. I specialize in pelvic health and I provide solutions for pelvic floor disorders and persistent pain without the use of drugs or surgery. The name NeuroFit encompasses my passion for a mind-body-spirit approach to wellness. Pelvic floor disorders are a common but often undiscussed problem affecting the most intimate area of our bodies: the muscles of the pelvic floor, which are responsible for controlling bladder, bowel, sexual function and support of the internal organs, the spine and pelvis. An interruption in any one of these areas impacts our entire life. Our mission at NeuroFit is to increase the awareness for the treatment of conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles for our local Reno-Tahoe community and globally. We help people to have enjoyable, active lifestyles and vibrant fulfilling sexual health without limitations. We provide individualized 1:1 care through a strong belief in a holistic, whole life approach to wellness. Our physical health is affected by a combination of several factors occurring over time and space including our personal relationships and experiences with our environments. We honor your comfort and privacy throughout your journey by creating this healing space. Below is a list of symptoms associated with some conditions that I have success in treating and I would love to help you, too. - Leak urine, feces or gas when laughing, coughing, sneezing, jumping, running, exercising - Constipation or bowel elimination problems - Pressure in the genital area or a "falling out" feeling - Unresolved lower back, hip or tailbone pain - Pain or burning in the abdomen, tailbone, rectal or pubic area - Pain or pressure during or after sexual intercourse in the pelvic area, tailbone, hips or lower back - Pain with ejaculation or orgasm - Urination urgency and/or frequency or difficulty initiating and/or a weak urine stream - Pain or difficulties in the pelvic area associated with cancer - Pain anywhere in the body: lower back, hips, shoulder, neck, knee - Lack of motivation or knowledge in how to begin or where to go next in your wellness journey to attain your goals. I'm your guide!
