Women with pelvic floor dysfunction are often embarrassed and feel very isolated. They are not aware that there are physical therapists trained to treat the pelvic floor musculature. My main focus is to make them feel comfortable and cared for while rehabilitating these conditions. In addition I treat women who have undergone surgeries (including reconstruction) for breast cancer. My goal is to make this a medical appointments where they look forward to coming and leave feeling much better. Additional Highlights

Other than getting patients better, some of my proudest achievements include coauthoring an article to educate the public on pelvic floor dysfunction (Hitting Below the Belt) and being involved with philanthropic events such as Kegel for a Cause. This charity event engaged the audience in an innovative discussion on pelvic floor awareness. All proceeds from the event went to the nonprofit organization A Stitch in Time, an all-female team that performs prolapse surgeries in third world countries.
