About

Britnie is a Physical Therapist and Director of One Accord Physical Therapy in Phoenix, AZ, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University - Phoenix Biomedical Campus in 2015. Britnie has experience in treating a wide variety of conditions ranging from vestibular hypofunction, BBPV, orthopedic injuries, post-surgical, chronic pain, geriatrics and spine conditions. After spending a couple of years treating numerous patients with low back and/or hip pain Britnie noticed a direct connection between orthopedic injuries and pelvic floor dysfunction. This lead Britnie to pursue continuing education opportunities for the treatment of pelvic floor conditions. Britnie uses an eclectic array of treatments including advanced manual therapy techniques, spinal manipulation, dry needling, myofascial release, breathing/relaxation techniques, postural retraining, balance/vestibular training, strength and conditioning to assist her patients in meeting their personal goals. Britnie's extensive orthopedic and pelvic floor training allows her to treat a variety of conditions including low back pain, neck pain, headaches, hip pain, SI-joint dysfunctions, pre- and post-partum strengthening, Pelvic floor pain, abdominal pain, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), and pelvic organ prolapse. She believes in the importance of endowing her patients to take charge of their bodies, health, and wellness. When Britnie isn’t at work, she enjoys being home with her husband and son, venturing outdoors for runs/hikes, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
